Hey, I'm Sage, currently the only one on the SPLI Forum Design Team. Firstly, a brief introduction to myself.
My real name is Tara, but I'm frequently known by my internet aliases of Sage, sage_ultima, sage_ultimo (which originated from a typo of the former that sort of stuck), and Aasoko. I found Streetpass LI through Streetpass NYC, which I found through Streetpass Arizona, which I found out about because of the parody of Call Me Maybe called Swapnote Me Maybe, which I found because one of my friends on Facebook posted the video from Youtube. I'm a huge fan of video games, especially for their stories, though the graphics and music also appeal to me. I do like cheating on video games to make things easier, since most of the time I play for story and not for gameplay. I would never cheat online, of course, and I would also never hack my Pokemon. I'm also a huge fan of anime since as long as I can remember, though I only knew what it was called after I got into Inuyasha back around second grade. (And, yes, my mom knew it was on [adult_swim] and let me watch it.) I love drawing fanart and writing fanfiction as well, and have over 200 Original Characters I've made. Here's some things about my gaming.
Alright, now since we're all acquainted, I'd like to discuss my job on this forum. Being on the design team, my job is to make this place look appealing. I've already designed 5 skins for this forum, based on 3DS games that I like. They are for Rhythm Thief & the Emperor's Treasure, Sonic Generations, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Kid Icarus: Uprising, and Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance (3D).
Firstly, because I use desktop wallpapers as the backgrounds, the skins I make, for the most part, will work best with a computer with the screen dimensions of 1024x768. (The only current exception is the Kid Icarus one, since the only good backgrounds in that size wouldn't let me hotlink them. I may change it later or add a v2 of how I originally intended it to look if/when I can get around to posting the intended background image to somewhere on the internet.) If you have a resolution different from that, and can't change it to that size, let me know and I may try to find a background image with the same theme to fit that size. I can understand if people have different dimensions, since I myself have a Netbook, so my dimensions are 1024x600.
Secondly, so far I've only used 3DS games that I'm into. Here's where the request part comes in. If you have any game/anime/other theme you would like me to implement, than you should reply with what the theme is. You may either a) give me just the theme(s) (ie. Mario 3D Land) and let me work from that, or b) give me your theme(s) along with a background image and approximate colors you feel would fit that theme best.
*Note: I don't really like Mario, so if you request anything related to that, I might do it begrudgingly and/or put it off for other requests/ideas. Just warning you ahead of time. This same rule may apply for video games that have blood/gore, or other games I dislike for whatever reasons. For this reason, for any requests of the like, you may want to give me more to work off of (ie. finding the background image yourself instead of having me look for it) so I may get it done quicker.
You may also request for me to change specific skins. For example, with games and such I don't own or otherwise don't know too much about, such as my Kid Icarus one, you may send me requests on possibly changing it with colors that would better capture the essence of it. Note that just because you send me a request doesn't necessarily mean I'll change it. Since it will be through PM, I will likely reply shortly to you, either saying that I'm working on it, that I just finished it, or that I will take it into consideration and may or may not do it.
Finally, onto my last topic for this: Other Help. Part of the reason I'm on the Design Team now is because I know very well how boards.net, formerly known as proboards.com, works. Basically, I made a board on proboards.com back in 2006, which I recently redid since it's dead, so now I'll only post fanfics there when I feel like sharing them. Anyway, I'm getting off topic. If you guys need help on using anything on this site, PM me and I'll likely know what to do, or at least be able to point you in the right direction.
For example, I noticed a while back that only a few of our members were using avatars that were not part of the default set. (this may or may not be the case now.) So, that's another thing I want to help with, since avatars help define who you are, and using the same one as someone else may confuse people. (besides the fact that it's somewhat related to the design of the forum.)
So, if anyone wants a specific kind of avatar, and doesn't know how to get it, they may PM me. I will try to find, or possibly make, an avatar that you will enjoy, give you the link, and help show you how to implement it into your profile. Like, you can choose the size of your avatar to be whatever you want within the 100x100 pixel range, even if that range smaller than the original image. (I haven't really tested using a smaller image and making it bigger, so I'll get back to you on that. Besides the fact that generally enlarged images don't look as clean as the originals.) An example of this is the avatar I use was originally 128x128, since it made to be a Twitter icon, and now it is 100x100.

- Liked Game series: Zelda, Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Yu-Gi-Oh, Megaman, Kingdom Hearts, Sonic, NiGHTS, Harvest Moon, Rune Factory (there may be more I can't think of for the moment.)
My favorite of these being NiGHTS, even though there's only technically two to the series. - Game Systems I own: GBA, GBA SP, DS, 3DS, Gamecube, Wii, PS2, PS3, XBox (though I don't play it because there's only one game I ever wanted for it that wasn't available on other systems, which is rare and usually quite expensive.)

-Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 skin has been added. - Update #2 (November 12th, 2012):
-Fixed some problems with the Rhythm Thief & the Emperor's Treasure skin, since the link for the background image was down. It should work fine now.
