The 2012 SPLI Awards - Member's Choice Survey

-Best 3DS Retail Game of 2012: Tough one, honestly...Probably gonna give it to Kid Icarus: Uprising, though.
-Best 3DS eShop Game of 2012: Another toughie! Toss up between Mighty Switch Force and Sakura Samurai; leaning more towards Sakura Samurai.
-Best 3DS Virtual Console Game of 2012: Hrm, probably Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones.
-Best 3DS 3D Classic of 2012: I barely played these, so uh...Excitebike?
-Best Wii Retail Game of 2012: XENOBLAAAAAADE!!!!!! *cough* Xenoblade Chronicles. Yeah.
-Best Wii eShop Game of 2012: I haven't checked this in ages, so I got nothing.
-Best Wii Virtual Console Game of 2012: Same as above.
-Favorite hero character in a Nintendo game:I'm gonna stick to 2012 for these, so...Pyhrron(sp?). Hey, he was a good guy in the beginning!
-Favorite villain character in a Nintendo game: Hades. Seriously, Hades.
-Most annoying character in a Nintendo game: The only one I can think of is Riki from Xenoblade, and he was only annoying for about half the game.
-Favorite 3DS console color: Depends. Does "the one the Fire Emblem 3DS has" count?
-Most anticipated 3DS release for 2013: Ooh, tricky...Probably Fire Emblem: Awakening, though.
-Most anticipated Wii U release for 2013: Wonderful 101.

Well, here's my list of nominations and a brief reason why I nominated them or why I don't have one nominated.

• Best 3DS Retail Game of 2012: Rhythm Thief & the Emperor's Treasure
  Besides the fact that I'm still obsessed with it after 2 months, which is pretty long for me, it's also the only retail game that came out for 2012 that I have. XD
  
• Best 3DS eShop Game of 2012: N/A
  Haven't really played and eShop "games" due to lack of money, since I wouldn't really count Swapnote and Pokedex 3D as games...
  
• Best 3DS Virtual Console Game of 2012: N/A
  Again, due to lack of funds.
  
• Best 3DS 3D Classic of 2012: N/A
  Lack of funds and general disinterest in most classic games.
  
• Best Wii Retail Game of 2012: N/A
  Lack of funds....
  
• Best Wii eShop Game of 2012: N/A

• Favorite hero character in a Nintendo game from 2012: Raphael/Phantom R
  Since it says in a Nintendo game, and not necessarily a Nintendo character, and it's from 2012, (and the fact that other people are using characters from other games) I have to say Raphael, who's better known as Phantom R. I mean, he's an art thief that steals forgeries and replaces them with their originals, not to mention he has some pretty sweet moves. The only thing that really diminishes his cool factor is some of the corny lines he says, but at least they make me laugh. Plus, the only 2012 game I've played is Rhythm Thief, so Phantom R kinda wins by default. XD
  
• Favorite villain character in a Nintendo game from 2012: Napolean Bonaparte
  Kind of for a lack of a better nominee on my part, Napolean's pretty cool and he cracks me up sometimes, though not as much as Phantom R. There might be a better nominee, but I don't want to give away any spoilers with that. XD
  
• Most annoying character in a Nintendo game from 2012: Poodle
  She's from Rhythm Thief and she's a pink poodle that Raphael's dog, Fondue, falls in love with. Why is she so annoying? Because of the two minigames you trigger when you meet up with her. I could barely pass them, let alone get an A rank, and it caused so much frustration for me. You don't know how many times I yelled at Fondue telling him I was going to kill her when I was done. I eventually got the A rank out of dumb luck, but that stupid poodle will forever annoy me. (I left my previous response below in strikethrough just because I didn't want to delete it.)
  Navi was always annoying, bugging you to talk to her just to hear something that's usually obvious, but Ocarina of Time 3D took it to a whole new level by having her bug you if you've been playing the game for a long period of time. Seriously, I'll rest when I feel like resting, Navi and Nintendo. >.>
  
• Favorite 3DS console color of 2012: N/A
  The Zelda Anniversary Edition color was technically from 2011, so I can't say that since the new guidelines are for 2012 only. I honestly don't know...Pearl Pink 3DS XL or Midnight Purple 3DS...maybe?
  
• Most anticipated 3DS release for 2013: N/A
  Don't see much that I want coming out next year. I mean, I might be interested in Animal Crossing, but I'll probably lose interest quickly unless I can find some way to cheat in it, since I've never played Animal Crossing without some sort of cheats.
  
• Most anticipated Wii U release for 2013: N/A
  I'm not very interested in the Wii U just yet, since none of the currently known games appeal to me, the difficulty I see with playing it, and general lack of funds.
