Hey guys. Figured I'd just write a little intro about myself here on the General Discussion board. Feel free to do the same if you'd like!
My real name is Debbie, but my gamer name is Gluxbox. Or Glux for short. (Pronounced like "clucks" but with a G, for those who don't know.) The name started off as a private joke so... don't ask. Just call me Glux lol!
I don't play Xbox, so it's not about that. OK enuf about my name.
I've been a member of StreetPass NYC and Pokemon DS NYC ever since I found out that they existed. As I used to live in the city, it was a fun way to meet new people and get StreetPasses. But at the end of 2010 I moved back to Long Island, making it a lot more difficult for me to attend the city events.
Now I've decided to make my own group - StreetPass Long Island! I know there already was a SPLI group, but they seemed kinda inactive. I'm a hard working, grown woman and I wanted to do my own thing!
So I took it upon myself, with the help of my awesome boyfriend Jeff (aka JDubz) and our friend Dul (TheDulor) and we are striving to make an awesome StreetPass group for Long Islanders!
I've never run a group quite like this before, so please be patient with us and if you have anything to offer in terms of help, please let me know!

Here's some of my favorite game series: Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Harvest Moon, Mario Kart, Super Mario, Legend of Zelda, as well as puzzle games like Brain Age. And I love 3DS-ware like Pushmo and Freakyforms!
I look forward to gaming with all of you! ;D
